Mike Cook

Pastor Mike Cook has been the Associate Pastor of Life Groups and Men’s Discipleship at Kingdom Church since January 2021. He brings with him to the ministry 30 plus years in law enforcement, in addition to many years of lay ministry involving various roles. Pastor Mike, also known as “Smiley,” has served in many ministry roles including youth group worker, single adult ministry leader, Life Group Leader, Men’s Discipleship Leader, Adult Sunday School Teacher, and six years as a Deacon at his prior church. He holds a Masters in Christian Ministry with an emphasis in discipleship and small groups from Liberty University Baptist Theological Seminary. His studies confirmed his desire to see men and women grow in their faith through Discipleship and Life Groups. Pastor Mike and his wife, Sharron have been married 37 years and have worked as a team in many ministries. They have one son, Christopher. They have been blessed with three grandchildren. In his free time, He enjoys reading to relax, time with the grandkids, ATV off-roading, and shooting. Pastor Mike is also a Black Belt in the martial art of Tae-Kwon-Do and in the past trained and discipled many youths in the martial arts and their faith.
